DSLR ย่อมาจาก Digital Single Lens reflex หมายถึงกล้องถ่ายรูปที่ต้องใช้กระจกสะท้อนภาพและใช้เลนส์ตัวเดียวเพื่อทำให้เห็นภาพที่เห็นที่ช่องมองภาพ เป็นภาพเดียวกับภาพที่จะถูกถ่าย ในช่วงแรกของการพัฒนา กล้อง DSLR แม้จะเป็น Entry Level ก็จะมีราคาที่ค่อนข้างสูงมาก และกล้อง DSLR ตัวแรกที่ถือว่าเป็น Affordable Price ซึ่งผมเองก็ยังซื้อมาก็คือ EOS 300D ที่มีราคา 46,000 บาท ( ตอนนั้นผมซื้อพร้อม CF 1กิ๊ก ราคา 9,900 บาท )
แต่ในที่สุดกล้อง DSLR ก็มีราคาต่ำลงมาจนแตะเพดานกล้อง Compact รุ่น Top จนได้ และเป็นที่มาของ EOS 1000D ( ปี 2008 ออกมาใกล้ๆ EOS 450D ) และล่าสุด EOS 1100D คราวนี้ถ่าย VDO ได้อีกด้วย
มิติของ EOS 1100D จะเห็นว่าใหญ่กว่า 1000D เล็กน้อย มีน้ำหนัก 495 กรัม ข้อมูลจาก dpreview
EOS 1100D ถือเป็นกล้องระดับ Entry Level ตัวล่าสุดของ Canon ที่มาแทน EOS 1000D และยังถ่าย VDO ได้ด้วย ถือว่ามีความน่าสนใจอย่างมากถ้าราคามีความห่างกับ EOS600D แต่สำหรับผู้บริโภคในไทย ส่วนใหญ่ไปร้านน่าจะถูกเชียร์ให้ซื้อ 600D กันครับ เพราะจิตวิทยาว่ารุ่นต่ำสุดอาจไม่อุ่นใจพอ ส่วนสำหรับผม EOS 1100D ถือเป็นกล้องแนะนำอันดับ 1 สำหรับผู้ใช้มือใหม่ที่อยากได้ DSLR จาก Canon สักตัว

EOS 1100D กล้อง DSLR Entry Level ที่มีสเป็คไม่ขี้เหร่
ถ้าสรุปสั้นๆก็คือ สำหรับมือ Social Media การมีกล้องที่ความละเอียดเยอะมาก ก็ไม่ได้จำเป็นอีกต่อไปเพราะเราไม่ค่อยได้นำภาพไปปรินท์ ( EOS 1100D resolution 12 MP vs EOS 600D 18 MP ) และถ้าเป็นผู้ที่ Upload คลิป Youtube เป็นหลัก EOS 1100D ถือว่าเป็นกล้องที่เหมาะสมเป็นอย่างมากเพราะการถ่ายคลิปก็ไม่ได้หนักเครื่องคอมพ์ในการทำ Post Production มากครับ ( EOS 1100D 720p vs EOS 600D Full HD ) แต่แน่นอนว่าคุณภาพภาพที่เราเห็นได้ชัดมากที่สุดมาจากเลนส์ที่ต้องซื้อเพิ่ม

EOS 1100D นั้นใช้เซ็นเซอร์ขนาด 12 MP มาประกอบกับเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่อย่างระบบโฟกัส 9 จุด และระบบวัดแสง 63 ตำแหน่ง สามารถถ้า Raw+Jpeg ในเวลาเดียวกันได้
EOS 1100D ตัวขวา ด้านหลังมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงชัดเจน ด้วยปุ่มกดสไตล์ 60D จอใหญ่ขึ้นเป็น 2.7นิ้ว
ตัวกล้อง EOS 1100D นั้นมีวัสดุที่เรียบแข็งและเบา ความรู้สึกจะดูราคาถูกกว่ารุ่นที่สูงกว่าอยู่บ้าง แต่ก็มี Hand Grip มือจับที่ทำได้ดีทำให้รู้สึกจับถือได้ดีกว่ารุ่นเดิม มีปุ่มที่อยู่ในตำแหน่งที่ดี หากถือด้วยมือขวามือเดียวก็สามารถใช้งานได้ มี comment นิดเดียวคือปุ่ม ISO ไม่ได้อยู่ด้านบนทำให้ถ้าต้องการเปลี่ยนอย่างรวดเร็วในขณะที่มองในช่องมองภาพไปด้วย จะไม่สะดวก
แฟลชยกสูง ถ่ายแล้วทำให้เป็นตาแดงน้อยลงครับ
EOS 1100D สามารถใช้ Eye-Fi ซื่งเป็น SD Card ที่เชื่อมไร้สายกับ WIfi เพื่อใช้ในการถ่ายรูปแล้วแชร์ในทันทีได้
สิ่งที่ปรับปรุงใหม่ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบระหว่าง EOS 1100D และ EOS 1000D และ EOS 600D
- 1100D ความละเอียดเพิ่มเป็น 12.2 MP ขนาดรูป 4272 x 2848 L ( 1000D อยู่ที่ 10 MP และ 600D อยู่ที่ 18 MP)
